Fountain in the townhall center of Stettin, now Szczecin, Poland.
Standing, the primary figure is Sedina, the allegorical representation of Stettin, bearing anchor and mast. At the helm is Hermes, god of traders. Around 1900, Stettin experienced a significant economic upswing, especially from sea trading. Thus, the fountain stands, in a way, as a symbol of the rising, prospering sea city.
