Although it is possible that the Trojan war happened and that probably the myth of "The Trojan horse" was only an invention, this fact has given rise to the expression of "destructive delusion", something conceived as pleasant object, wrapped in caramel paper but that brings with it serious consequences. In antiquity, the term horse referred to a machine of war, the battering ram, often built in the form of animal, which could give rise to this legend. Imagination applied to deception as a means to destroy and dispose of an enemy has proved to be an effective resource to solve problems that would be impossible through the use of force.
