Every surface tells a story and is subject to change over time. Imprint captures the moment of the texture of a surface. Every pattern, every square centimetre tells its own life story, like scars and wrinkles on our skin.
These life stories were transferred to the paper by hand, using physical energy, through a combination of drawing paper, carbon paper and friction. Through this interaction, individual small organic landscapes emerge on each sheet, which tell their own story through all their cracks and distortions.
Each resulting image contains the time and place of creation, as well as the geographical coordinates (geotag).
