This print is of a painting by the Group of Seven artist: Frank (Franz) Hans Johnston (1888-1949) ARCA, OSA. CSPWC. It is a Spring scene of a wood lot in front of a drift wood fence. The snow is melting revealing a stream with emerald colored water. The composition and colors are eye pleasing. The original painting is in the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, Ontario.
