Bison
This painting was inspired by the cave painting of a bison in Altamira.
I love the concept of using a new medium such as digital painting to create an image that is one of the most ancient and technically proficient paintings of an animal. The person who did this painting originally was truly a master of his craft.
I was working on a drawing project with my children, teaching them about tone and colour, and decided afterwards to do this creation too.
