Pink blossom petals against the sapphire blue
Many lain carefully, some a carpet the wind strew
Their pale lime coloured stamens with honey and dew
We walked past a kingfisher diving on cue, it dove and then flew with its catch held true
We listened to the crested bird eating sweet red flowers of a crimson hue
Fresh green leaf buds bursting into view
Translucent lime green dabs today they are new
Their wallets empty four herons flew two by two
Seen and sensed when walking in this vista on campus, this view
